It's no surprise, as the satirical black comedy film that pokes fun on the social hierarchy has not only received an eight-minute standing ovation at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival and received the prestigious Palme d'Or award, but it also features our very own Filipino actress Dolly de Leon.

In case you're not familiar with the synopsis, Triangle of Sadness tells the story of how a luxury cruise for the uber-rich gets completely shipwrecked after a violent storm occurs at sea. Now stranded on a desert island, the remaining survivors must fight for survival without any of their riches and treasured jewels to help them get VIP treatment during this unexpected catastrophe.
Aside from de Leon, who received rave reviews for her performance, the film also stars Harris Dickinson, Woody Harrelson, Henrik Dorsin, Zlatko Buric, Iris Berben, Sunnyi Melles, Vicky Berlin, and Oliver Ford Davies.
The film is exclusively distributed by TBA Studios in the country.
