'Do You Hear the People Sing?' concert returning to Manila in August

Calling all theater fans: Boublil and Schonberg's Do You Hear the People Sing? concert will be back in Manila soon.

Ticketworld on Friday, June 28 released ticketing information for the upcoming two-night fundraising show that will be held on Aug. 2 and 3, 8:00 p.m. at Newport Performing Arts Theater for the beneficiary communities of the Upskills+ Foundation.

There will be an exclusive pre-sale access for Metrobank VISA cardholders from June 28, 10:00 a.m. to July 3, 11:59 p.m. General tickets, meanwhile, will go on sale on its website starting July 4 at 10:00 a.m. You can also waitlist in this link for tickets.

Ticket prices range from P5,550 to P27,750.

The concert's return to Manila this year was first announced on its official Facebook page on June 18, with local and international stars like Abigail Adriano, Nigel Huckle, Bradley Jaden, Amy Manford, Joreen Bautista, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante, David Ezra, Arman Ferrer, Jep Go, Carla Guevara Laforteza, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Esang de Torres, and Michael Williams in its lineup.

Do You Hear the People Sing? puts the spotlight on the legacy of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, the award-winning duo behind two much-loved musicals: Les Misérables and Miss Saigon. It features hit songs from the theater megahits as well as Martin Guerre, The Pirate Queen, and La Révolution Française (their first musical together).
