‘Crash Landing on You’ star Hyun Bin is named as LazMall’s first regional ambassador

Crash Landing on You fans, rejoice! South Korean actor Hyun Bin has been appointed as the first regional ambassador of LazMall, Lazada’s selection of authorized brands and distributors.

The e-commerce platform officially announced that the South Korean superstar will be joining the Lazada family on Monday, Aug. 16.

Lazada Group chief marketing officer Mary Zhou said Hyun Bin was chosen as LazMall's first regional ambassador for his “genuine personality and extraordinary dedication to his craft” that resonates with the brand’s identity. 

“I’m very happy to be joining the Lazada family and connecting with fans in Southeast Asia as LazMall’s first regional brand ambassador. I look forward to creating lots of fun times together, starting with the 9.9 Big Brands Sale. I wish everyone good health and hope you stay safe until we can meet again in person,” Hyun Bin said in an official statement released by Lazada. 

The actor is set to be part of a short film that will mark LazMall’s third anniversary and the e-commerce platform’s upcoming 9.9 sale. 

“Shooting the short film for the campaign was incredibly fun, especially when we got creative in demonstrating the efficiency, reliability, and variety of products that LazMall offers to shoppers through a secret agent mission storyline," Hyun Bin said. 

Aside from Crash Landing on You, Hyun Bin has appeared in popular K-dramas Secret Garden, Memories of the Alhambra, and My Name is Kim Sam-soon.
