Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) is looking for a new breed of aspiring artists for its new season airing this June.

Star Magic head Lauren Dyogi has announced that they will hold auditions for its TV comeback. In his Instagram Live, he revealed that there will be four on-ground auditions nationwide, starting April 27 and 28 in Metro Manila. Audition dates for Visayas and Mindanao and virtual auditions are yet to be unveiled.

Those who wish to be included in the new set of housemates must be aged 16 to 32. Additional requirements and qualifications are yet to be announced.

Following the announcement, the agency also warned the public against scammers pretending to be from PBB production.

“The unauthorized use of the “PBB” brand or any false representation as an employee of the show is punishable by law,” they stressed.

It also added that there will be opening auditions for the talent survival show Star Hunt, which produced P-pop groups BINI and BGYO. Aspiring idols must be aged 13 to 25 years old. Auditions will be held in the last week of April.

PBB is a reality survival TV show that first aired in 2001. Successful housemates must pass all kinds of challenges inside the house for 100 days to be hailed as the “Big Winner.” Its last season premiered in 2021, with Anji Salvacion as the big winner.

Some of the notable celebrities from the show are Melai Cantiveros, Kim Chiu, James Reid, Maris Racal, and Gerald Anderson.
