What a big night for BTS!

The well-loved K-pop group took home a total of four titles at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, namely Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Social Artist, and Top Selling Song.

It can be recalled that they first bagged the Top Duo/Group award back in 2019. This year, they beat Maroon 5, AC/DC, Dan + Shay, and AJR in the same category.

BTS clinched the trophy for Top Song Sales Artist, where they competed against Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Morgan Wallen, and The Weeknd.

For the fifth consecutive year, the boy band also won the Top Social Artist prize. Other nominees in the fan-voted award classification were BLACKPINK, Seventeen, Ariana Grande, and Filipino group SB19.

Their hit song Dynamite additionally won them the Top Selling Song honor over I Hope by Gabby Barrett and Charlie Puth, WAP by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, Blinding Lights by The Weeknd, and Savage by Megan Thee Stallion featuring Beyonce.

BTS, which consists of seven members—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—also amped up the highly-anticipated event with a world premiere performance of their new song Butter.

The 2021 BBMAs was held on Sunday, May 23 at 8 p.m. (ET) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
