Jesus Christ Superstar follows the final days of Jesus Christ, leading up to his crucifixion, as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him for thirty pieces of silver. This story also explores the relationships and struggles of Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, the disciples, and the Roman Empire.
It's entirely told through rock songs, including hits Superstar, I Don't Know How to Love Him, and Gethsemane.
The 2026 tour is produced by GMG Productions and David Ian for Crossroads Live and Work Light Productions.
Filipina star Gab Pangilinan is leading the Manila run as Mary Magdalene, alongside Luke Street (Jesus), Javon King (Judas), Ethan Hardy Benson (Pilate), Grant Hodges (Caiaphas), and Kodiak Thompson (Annas).
