Alex Gonzaga has expressed her gratitude to her followers who shared similar stories of suffering a miscarriage, making her feel she’s “never alone.”

The content creator-TV host showed her appreciation via her Instagram post on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

“Sharing one’s motherhood journey is never easy because it brings back all the pain and feeling of loss,” she began the post which features a photo of herself and her husband, Lipa City Councilor Mikee Morada, walking under the rain, as well as collated screenshots of comments from social media users inspired by Alex's experience.

“But I have received so many messages from aspiring mothers who know exactly how I feel and whose longing I share. Maraming salamat sa inyo,” she continued.

“Thank you for making me feel that I am never alone, that beyond the love and support of my family,” she added. “I have your kind words to give me comfort and strength.”

The 35-year-old celebrity said that although she may not know them all personally, she also empathizes with them “in spirit and more so in prayer.”

“One day, and by God’s grace and infinite goodness, we will have our rainbow baby,” she wrote.

“Keep the faith, and together, let us look forward to the next chapter of our journey. Trust me, there is nothing more beautiful than God’s gift of beginnings,” she concluded.

Followers and fellow celebrities, including celebrity moms Iya Villania-Arellano, Kris Bernal, and Mariel Padilla poured their messages of love and support.

"In His perfect time, praying with you, Alex," TV presenter Iya wrote.

"I’ve been married for 5 years and had a miscarriage [in] 2021. It was one of the hardest things I had to go through. With God’s grace we got our rainbow baby at age 42. Don’t lose hope. God is faithful. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever," a social media user commented.

Another one said, "I had 5, yes 5, blighted ovum/miscarriages before I had my first full-term baby boy. Keep the faith. God is faithful to His promises."

This came a few days after Alex revealed suffering her second miscarriage in October, two years after experiencing her first one in October 2021.

In her interview with her sister, Toni Gonzaga, on her YouTube series Toni Talks, Alex revealed that their second attempt at pregnancy was done through IVF, taking inspiration from former US First Lady Michelle Obama. The American lawyer and author decided to count on surrogacy for her two pregnancies after losing a baby via miscarriage.

She also shared she felt "pressured" by other people to have a baby, but has later on realized God’s message about trusting in the timeline He has for her.

“Noong naliligo ako, parang bigla lang along kinausap ni Lord na parang 'Why are you in a rush to be pregnant?' Tapos naiyak ako," she recalled.

"Naisip ko, 'Oo nga 'no, ba't ba ako in a rush? Bakit hinihingi ko kay Lord, 'Lord, sana bukas is pregnant na ako. Sana talagang matuloy na itong pregnancy ko.' Why? Kasi napepressure ako sa tao," she added.

Alex got married to Mikee in November 2020.
