Filipino celebrities took to social media to bid 2022 farewell and welcome 2023 with open arms.

Derek Ramsay, Ellen Adarna, and son Elias spent the upcoming year in Stockholm in Sweden. Adarna captioned her Instagram post with a short but sweet "Stockholm" and a red heart emoji.

The Ramsays last visited France for the holidays.

Melai Cantiveros and Jason Francisco, meanwhile, rang in 2023 with their kids and relatives. They held customized cakes with a red "2023" in front and a gold "happy new year" on top.

In her element, Cantiveros did a wacky pose with her youngest daughter Stela, while Jason and Mela of "I love chicken nuggets" fame opted for a laidback pose.

"Happy 1st Day of 2023," Cantiveros said in her Instagram post. "GodBless our 2023."

PhilSTAR L!fe's September cover girl Alodia Gosiengfiao spent new year's eve with her parents, fiancé Christopher Quimbo, and sister Ashley and her partner Kevin Lapeña.

"Happy new year from our family to yours!!" Gosiengfiao said in her Facebook post.

Erich Gonzales kept things simple by posting a 20-second video of a fireworks display set to classical music. Gonzales also put a face with halo, praying hands, and sparkle emojis in her post.

She also posted a six-second fireworks display clip during Christmas.

For Maxene Magalona, 2023 is all about a clean slate. She shared photos of her during her visit to Bali in Indonesia.

For her new year's day photo, Magalona is wearing a white dress as she gives a restrained smile while half of her body is submerged in the waters of Ubud town.

“Take time / to cleanse, / to heal, / to renew, / to grow, / to become," Magalona wrote in the caption, quoting author Butterflies Rising.

A day before that, she also posted a photo of her in the same location, praying. Looking back into 2022, she said she promised herself to live with more intention and purpose.

"When I asked myself what my intentions are and why I do what I do, these are the words that my heart and soul chose: Growth. Gratitude. Grace," Magalona said in her Instagram post. "Thank You, God."

Anne Curtis, Erwan Heussaff, and daughter Dahlia meanwhile went to Cradle Mountain in Tasmania in Australia.

"Shh there’s a lil’ wombat sleeping," Curtis said in her Facebook post. "Wrapping up 2022 surrounded by love and nature with a very, very grateful heart."

A day before New Year, Kim Atienza shared a selfie video in El Nido, Palawan.

For Kakai Bautista, she welcomed 2023 by gyrating to Beyoncé's Cuff It
