Matty Juniosa bagged a nomination for Best Performance at the 2026 National Reality TV Awards for his performance on Britain's Got Talent.

The Filipino singer shared the good news via a short Instagram Reel.

“I just want to say, you guys made this happen! We have been nominated for Best Performance on a Reality TV Show this year at the National Reality TV Awards here in the UK,” he said.

Juniosa appealed for fans' votes in the ongoing public poll. He said while being nominated alone is already meaningful to him, he admitted it would be “fun” and “nice” to take home the award.

“I'm nominated with other great performers and performances from TV shows. It's just so cool, you know, it's just some cool stuff,” he continued.

Other nominees include finalists from the recent BGT, including Celestial, Anastasiia and Salsa, and Hawkstone Farmers' Choir, the first-ever choir to win the show. Karen Carney & Carlos Gu, Lewis Cope and Gorka Marquez from Strictly Come Running are also in the running, as well as Keisha Buchanan of The Masked Singer.

The 15th Annual National Reality TV Awards will be held on July 29, 2026, in Central London.

The NRTA is an annual awards ceremony established in 2011 to celebrate outstanding achievements in the reality television industry. Recognizing the cast and crew behind reality TV across a wide range of genres, it was the first awards show of its kind to launch in both the UK and the US.

After his BGT stint, Juniosa is currently portraying Annas in the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar through September. He will also stage his first-ever live concert at Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre on Sept. 27.
