Anne Curtis, Dingdong Dantes, Joshua Garcia, and more Filipino stars nominated at 2026 Seoul Drama Awards

Several Filipino stars, including Anne Curtis, Dingdong Dantes, and Joshua Garcia, are among the nominees at this year's Seoul International Drama Awards.

In an announcement on June 15, the awarding body unveiled the lineup of nominees for this year, which is set to be held on Oct. 8, at KBS Hall, Seoul, South Korea.

Curtis secured a nomination in the Individual Awards category for her performance in the TV adaptation of It's Okay to Not Be Okay. She celebrated her nomination via an X post.

"OMG. I'm so kilig. I don't stand a chance against the voting power of [J]isoo but I'm so grateful to even be nominated," she wrote.

Meanwhile, a number of other Filipino celebrities were nominated for the Outstanding Asian Star Award. Among them are The Alibi lead stars Paulo Avelino and Kim Chiu, along with Fyang Smith, Kaila Estrada, JM Ibarra, Amy Austria, Angelica Panganiban, Anton Vinzon, Bela Padilla, Carlo Aquino, Charlie Dizon, Gerald Anderson, Ivana Alawi, JM de Guzman, Jake Cuenca, Katrina Halili, Max Collins, Roi Vinzon, Shaina Magdayao, and Zanjoe Marudo.

The South Korean nominees include some of the entertainment industry’s most prominent stars, such as Gang Dong-won, Jun Ji-hyun, Kim Seon-ho, Go Youn-jung, Ji Chang-wook, Doh Kyung-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Suzy, Lim Yoon-a, Park Bo-young, Jisoo, and Park Ji-hoon.

Among the Chinese nominees are Dilraba Dilmurat, Zhao Lusi, Yang Yang, and Bai Jingting. Representing Thailand are Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak, Milk Pansa Vosbein, Love Pattranite Limpatiyakorn, Namtan Tipnaree, Film Rachanun, and Rebecca Patricia Armstrong.

Meanwhile, Japan's nominees include Haruna Kawaguchi, Kazuya Kamenashi, Shun Oguri, and Jin Akanishi, while Singapore's representatives are Tyler Ten, Richie Koh, Hong Ling, and Tasha Low.

Representing Thailand are Win Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, Gemini Norawit Titicharoenrak, Milk Pansa Vosbein, Love Pattranite Limpatiyakorn, Namtan Tipnaree, Film Rachanun, and Rebecca Patricia Armstrong, highlighting the country's rising prominence in youth-oriented and streaming drama productions.

The Outstanding Asian Star Award recognizes actors and actresses who made a significant impact over the past year in Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines.

To vote, fans must download the voting platform IDOLCHAMP and cast their votes until July 15.

Founded in 2005, the Seoul International Drama Awards is recognized as the first global awards program devoted exclusively to television dramas. The event aims to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding by highlighting stories from around the world.
