Jane de Leon grateful for mom's 8th successful operation: 'You’re such a strong person, mama'
The beloved Darna has just won another battle but this time, in a supporting role for her mom who triumphed over her eighth surgery.
Jane de Leon first shared the condition of her mother Marie de Leon on March 13, when she was confined for seven days.
“Our mom got into an accident last Friday and today is her surgery. It breaks my heart to see her in this situation,” she wrote.
“[I’m] doing my best to stay positive and make her smile even though she’s in pain.”
On Friday, March 17, the 24-year-old actress penned an appreciation post for her mother who just braved and succeeded the surgery, which she mentioned was especially difficult given her heart problem.
“I know that it must be difficult especially as this is your 8th surgery (head, heart x4, legs and now your wrist). Every surgery is extra dangerous for you because of your heart problem. Yet here you are [fighting] for us.
Taking pride in her strong mom, Jane wrote: “The scars on your body made us call you “Frankenstein Mom” to which you just answer with a smile.”
“You’re such a strong person mama and I am proud of you.”
She concluded her post by thanking everyone who sent their prayers for her mother’s surgery.
