Bianca Manalo shares what led to breakup with Win Gatchalian
Bianca Manalo has opened up about her breakup with Senate President Sherwin “Win” Gatchalian, including what led to it.
In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Oct. 15, the actress revealed that Gatchalian's commitment to serving the country was a factor in their separation. She, however, made it clear that she understood her ex-partner's dedication to his work.
"Mas focused siya sa pag-alaga ng bansa, and naiintindihan ko 'yun, Tito Boy, kasi he's very hardworking," she said. "Mabuti na nandun na lang, diba? Kaysa sa ibang bisyo. Ang bisyo niya is magsakripisyo at magserbisyo para sa Pilipinas."
Despite their breakup, Manalo said they remain friends and continue to share custody of their three dogs.
“'Pag may kailangan akong help, I still talk to him. Siya pa din tumutulong sakin; 'yung staff niya tumatawag sa'kin 'pag may kailangan ako,” she said. "He still takes good care of me."
The actress also shared she's still not in a hurry to enter a new relationship, choosing instead to focus on her family.
“I’m happy. I’m focusing on my happiness with my nephews and my nieces and my sisters and my mom,” she said. “So I’m okay for now."
Manalo and Gatchalian started dating in 2018. They sparked breakup speculations in early 2025 after eagle-eyed social media users noticed they were no longer posting photos of them together online. In January this year, Gatchalian described his love life as “non-existent” in an interview with Korina Sanchez.
