Kuya Kim remembers daughter Emman on her 20th birthday
Kuya Kim Atienza shared a heartwarming throwback for his late daughter Emman Atienza's 20th birthday on Feb. 8.
On Instagram, the TV host shared videos from his daughter's 18th and 19th birthday celebrations.
In the clip, Kim asked Emman for her birthday wish. "To make people happy and to make myself happy in the process."
"That's good!" her father is heard saying behind the camera.
"Emmansky, your time with us was brief but you made millions happy. I love you and miss you so much," Kim wrote in his caption.
On the TV host's Instagram story, he shared a photo of his visit to Emman's resting place.
"I came at 6 a.m. and was surprised to see flowers and candles already. My heart is full. Thank you."
His brother Jose also remembered Emman on her birthday with a post.
"There isn't a day that passes where I don't think about your smile, laughter, and energy," he shared, posting photos from their childhood.
"When I see the chair where you used to sit for dinner, go through our old pictures, explore our COVID Minecraft world, or reread [the] last text you sent me about our 23&Me results the day before you passed away, I'm always left wishing I had said 'I love you' more than I did."
Emman passed away in her home in Los Angeles, California, in October 2025. She was known for creating content online and for openly sharing her personal journey with anxiety and online hate to raise mental health awareness.
Her family has honored her memory by calling for kindness, a quality they said she lived by.
