Charlie Puth, Brooke Sansone welcome first baby
Charlie Puth is officially a dad!
The singer-songwriter announced that he and his wife Brooke Sansone Puth have now welcomed their first baby this March in a joint Instagram post.
The couple shared a carousel of pictures teasing their bundle of joy, with one showing Puth tending to his baby. Another showed Polaroid pictures of Brooke and Puth holding their little one in the hospital.
In the caption, the couple revealed the name and gender of their newborn, as well as his birth date, "Hey Jude 🩵 3.13.26"
In the comments section, many of their celebrity friends took the time to share their congratulations and well wishes for the couple, including Taylor Lautner, Laufey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Paris Hilton, and more.
Puth first shared that he and his wife are expecting their first baby in October last year through a music video of his new single Changes. In it, Sansone can be seen with her growing baby bump near the end. Puth then puts his hand on it and then shares a hug with her.
The two started out as friends and eventually decided to get into a romantic relationship.
In an October 2022 interview with Howard Stern, Puth shared that he grew up with Sansone in New Jersey.
"As my life gets more turbulent and I travel everywhere, it’s nice to have someone close to you that you’ve known for a very long time," he said at the time.
The musician announced his engagement to Sansone in September 2023, and tied the knot in the same month a year later.
