'Happiest man alive': Charlie Puth is now married to his childhood best friend

Charlie Puth has tied the knot with his non-showbiz partner.

On Instagram, the singer-songwriter shared some snaps taken during his wedding with the love of his life, Brooke Sansone.

"I love you, Brooke. I always have. WIth you, I am my very best. I promise I'll love you every day in this life," he captioned his social media post.

Charlie then thanked Brooke for making him the "happiest man alive."

"It has always been you," he said.

Charlie also posted their wedding video on IG. "Today I stand before you Brooke, and I can’t help but realize today is truly the happiest I’ve been in my 32 years of life," he wrote in the caption. "Some things I could not predict, but one thing has always been clear: Yes, somehow, I seemed to have always known I’d be standing with you up here."

The couple exchanged "I dos" at Charlie's family home in Montecito, California on Sept. 7.

The musician announced his engagement to Brooke in September last year. It came almost a year after the pair became Instagram official during his birthday celebration in December.

Charlie and Brooke started out as friends and eventually decided to get into a romantic relationship.

In an October 2022 interview with Howard Stern, he shared that he grew up with Brooke in New Jersey.

"As my life gets more turbulent and I travel everywhere, it’s nice to have someone close to you that you’ve known for a very long time," he said at the time.
