Bea Alonzo says she enjoys being single and that marriage isn't always the ultimate goal

Bea Alonzo is not pressuring herself to get married, stressing that marriage is not always the "endgame" for everyone.

“Hindi naman marriage ‘yung laging endgame ng lahat,” Bea said in her interview with GMA-7’s Saksi. "I mean, we have different paths, we have different destinies and fate,” she added.

Despite enjoying her single era, the Widows’ War star said she welcomes the possibility of new love and marriage.

"If it (marriage) happens, then I'd be happy, but that doesn't mean I would beat myself up if it doesn't happen," she said.

The 37-year-old actress also admitted that she has admirers but clarified that she isn’t dating anyone exclusively.

Bea was previously engaged to Dominic Roque. After dating for two years, Dominic asked for her hand in marriage in July 2023.

A few months later, they announced in a joint Instagram post that "after much thought, consideration, and care, we have mutually decided to amicably end our engagement." The actress previously said that they were planning to tie the knot in 2024.

In one of her interviews, Bea said their breakup made her stronger.

"Natutunan kong i-cancel talaga 'yung mga noise na hindi kailangan sa buhay ko," she said, "and just accept or embrace those opinions that add value to my life."
