Ella Pangilinan reveals why Sofia Andres did not attend her wedding

Ella Pangilinan has shared why Sofia Andres was not present during her wedding with her longtime partner Enrique Miranda.

Maricel Laxa and Anthony Pangilinan's eldest daughter got married in a Filipiniana-themed ceremony at the Puerta Real Gardens in Intramuros early this month.

Ella uploaded a TikTok video taken on her wedding day on Tuesday, Dec. 12. In the comments section of her post, a social media user asked why Sofia did not attend the grand affair.

"Unfortunately, she couldn't make it last minute [because] of important matters," she said. "But love her nonetheless."

Sofia is the girlfriend of the groom's brother Daniel Miranda, with whom she shares a child named Zoe.

Ella is a creative consultant who has worked her brilliance on various fashion brands.

She announced her engagement to Enrique in December last year.

In late November, she held her Amalfi-inspired bridal shower attended by her family and friends, including her mom, Maricel, and sister, content creator Hannah Pangilinan.

She also had a dreamy Despedida de Soltera, where her nearest and dearest sent her some love and surprised Ella with fun-filled performances to celebrate her journey en route to married life.
