Ai-Ai Delas Alas throws shade at 'cheater,' 'mistress' after split with Gerald Sibayan

Ai-Ai Delas Alas threw shade at a "cheater" and a "mistress" after announcing in November 2024 that she and husband Gerald Sibayan had split in October of that year.

On Jan. 21, Delas Alas on Instagram shared a photo of a cemetery with a full moon and an outline of what looks like a bat with the quote, "No woman could love a cheater and not pay the price of it."

In the caption, she noted that there's news despite her staying silent. She proceeded to give clues about the unnamed mistress and a supposed timeline of events at two Filipino establishments in California.

"Take note si mistress ay Pilipina," Delas Alas said without naming anyone.

In March 2024, she said the mistress was putting her head on the shoulder of the cheater in question at Gerry's Grill. She didn't specify which branch.

In June, they were supposedly spotted holding hands together near Jollibee, noting it was near the city of Fremont.

The incident, she also noted, was also near her house, which is in San Francisco.

In concluding her post, which was peppered with clapping emojis, she wrote, "Idol! GOAT (greatest of all time)."

Many netizens have speculated that she's referring to Sibayan, whom she said had cheated on her in 2019.

A netizen wrote, "Tagal ka na palang niloloko ng mga hayop na 'yan," to which the actress replied, "Kaya nga... shook ako."

Another netizen, meanwhile, urged Delas Alas to post screenshots. She replied, "Abang-abang lang tayo hehe."

Delas Alas and Sibayan, who have a 30-year age gap, got married in 2017 after three years of dating. He's her third husband after Miguel Vera and Jed Salang.

They renewed their wedding vows in the United States in December 2022.

Discussing her split with Sibayan in a Fast Talk episode in November 2024, Delas Alas recalled him sending her a chat from the United States about being unhappy and wanting to have a child with her. It was past midnight in the Philippines when she got the message.

They haven't talked to each other since then.

Delas Alas was also under the impression that there was a third party involved in their split.

In a January 2025 Fast Talk episode, she said she refuses to be on talking terms with Sibayan.

She only communicates with him indirectly through the likes of her son-in-law.

Delas Alas also reflected on the lessons she learned from her past marriages.

"Lumaban ako kasi masakit," she said. "Pero ngayon, hindi pala kailangan na ang laban, kailangang maingay."

"Pwede naman palang mahinahon na lang. Tatanggapin mo na lang and you’ll have a graceful exit," she added.
