9ato Entertainment, Han So Hee's agency, is considering taking legal action against individuals spreading malicious rumors about the actress.

On March 19, 9ato Entertainment on X acknowledged the attention So Hee gets as an actress, but also revealed that the Gyeongseong Creature star is going through a rough time due to "speculative posts and malicious comments" made about her.

"Han So Hee feels gratitude for the public’s attention that comes with her job as an actress, and she has worked to give back for the love and support of many people," they wrote.

"However, being a human before being an actress, she is experiencing a very difficult time emotionally due to speculative posts and malicious comments that are being written indiscriminately."

The South Korean-based agency said that it will take "strong action" against anyone who creates or shares content that is defamatory or harmful to the artist's image.

It asked the public to send any additional tips to [email protected].

"Our company and the actress deeply reflect on the troubles caused to many people during the process of announcing her relationship. We will closely watch over our actress to ensure that she can move in the right direction and will put in our full effort to protect our artist," it ended.

This comes after So Hee was embroiled in a dating issue with actor Ryu Jun-yeol, whom she admitted to be dating.

Dating rumors swirled around So-hee after she was spotted at Jun-yeol's photo exhibition, which was about the same time as the news of his six-year breakup with actress and former K-pop idol, Hyeri.

“First of all, it's true that we're developing the relationship with good feelings, however, I wish you refrain from using the word ‘transit love,’” she wrote in a blog post on March 17.

She explained that the former couple ended their relationship a year ago, and that they only started dating early this year.

"When we exchanged feelings for one another, it was already the beginning of 2024, and his breakup with that person was already wrapped up in early 2023. I heard that news articles about the breakup came out in November. Based on this fact, I confirmed my own feelings, and I kept going with the relationship,” she wrote.

Jun Yeol was previously dating Hyeri after working together in the hit 2015 drama series Reply 1988 as Sung Deok-sun and Kim Jun-hwan, respectively. They went public about their relationship in August 2017 and broke up in November 2023.
