'This belongs to you': Gabby Concepcion gives daughter KC a sentimental gift
Sentimental gifts will always be something.
Actor Gabby Concepcion is giving his decades-long pair of sunglasses to daughter KC Concepcion after she made a birthday greeting post for him with a throwback photo where he can be seen wearing it.
“This belongs to you! Love you, my baby,” Gabby said in an Instagram post on Nov. 5.
In the post, he collaged KC’s monochrome photo and his selfie with the text, “I still have the same ORIGINAL pair of glasses. I would like you to have it. This already belongs to you.” It’s also set to Stevie Wonder’s You Are the Sunshine of My Life.
In her birthday post for her father, KC described Gabby as “sweet and handsome,” and thanked him for putting a smile on her face.
“I hope my sisters and I do the same for you,” she said, “all the days of your life. I love you 3x a day… and more!”
Gabby commented “[love] you” on the post and shared it on his Instagram Story, set to Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragosa’s Basta’t Kasama Kita.
He also posted a screenshot of KC’s post, with the caption, "[Thank you] for always remembering my [birthday]! I love you FOREVER!”
KC is Gabby’s daughter with ex-wife, Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
Gabby and Sharon tied the knot in 1984. They welcomed KC a year later but got legally separated in 1987. Their marriage was annulled in 1993.
Sharon is now married to Kiko Pangilinan, while Gabby is now with Genevieve Gonzales.
Last October, Gabby and Sharon reunited for Dear Heart, a concert that celebrated their first appearance together in the movie of the same title, as well as their love story.
