Sharon Cuneta turned emotional as she said sorry to KC Concepcion for not being able to give her the complete family she wanted with Gabby Concepcion.

As seen in a vlog posted by broadcast journalist Christine Bersola-Babao on YouTube, the mommy-daughter duo shared a touching moment during the former couple's Dear Heart reunion concert, where the Megastar sang Ikaw for their daughter.

"Usually, this song is sung as a love song for weddings, for someone you love. Tonight, I will sing it for my eldest daughter," she said before her heartwarming performance.

Sharon then talked about being a mother of four. "I have four children. I do not have three, I have four. The first child to come and make me feel like a mother was this not-so-little girl beside me," she said.

The actress pointed out how KC made her life "complete" as she talked about one of her regrets in life.

"Sorry, KC. We couldn't give you that complete family," she said. "But you have two families. Papa and I never stopped loving you. You were never the problem."

To which, KC replied: "I love you."

She comforted her mom as the latter cried during the segment. She also sang some lines with her and shared some sweet embraces in between.

Sharon and Gabby's reunion show was held on Oct. 27 at the Mall of Asia Arena, five years after they worked together on a commercial for a fast-food chain in 2018.

The former pair tied the knot in 1984, three years after the premiere of their film, Dear Heart. They welcomed KC a year later but got legally separated in 1987. Their marriage was annulled in 1993.

Sharon is now married to Kiko Pangilinan, while Gabby is now with Genevieve Gonzales.
