Miss Universe queens Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Iris Mittenaere (2016), and Demi-Leigh Tebow (2017) will host the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 coronation night on April 30.
The Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) made the announcement on its social media pages March 26.
"#UniquelyBeautiful meets #ConfidentlyBeautiful," the MUPH wrote in its post. "You’re in for a phenomenal show, Universe!"
The post showcased Wurtzbach, Mittenaere, and Tebow in their respective golden dresses.
The MUPH announced its Top 50 candidates last Feb. 28, introducing a lineup that features fresh faces and familiar beauties alike.
Just like the previous edition, the pageant hopefuls went through a series of challenges—headshot, introduction video, swimsuit, fashion and runway, and interview—which should "narrow the field" until only 30 of them remain. The winners of the respective challenges were based on the votes of the public and the judges.
The Top 30 will compete at the finals round on April 30 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, where Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez, who finished in the Top 5 of the global pageant in Israel, will crown her successor.
