Channing Tatum, Jenna Dewan finalize divorce
Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have finalized their divorce six years after their split.
E! Online reported on Wednesday, Sept. 25 that the ex-couple had finalized their divorce.
More details about their divorce settlement have yet to be disclosed, but the two reportedly agreed to waive spousal supports and have agreed to settle any future disagreements about custody through a judge, per documents obtained by Daily Mail.
They have also settled their dispute regarding the earnings of the film, Magic Mike, which was said to be produced during their marriage, canceling the supposed trial set in December.
In case you don’t know, Dewan said that they acquired the film’s intellectual property together, but claimed Tatum put Magic Mike’s earnings into an “irrevocable trust" and transferred licensing rights to a third party without informing her.
Tatum refuted the allegations on his filing in May, saying he “have never denied [Dewan] her share of any community assets or income” and that she had “had equal access to our business managers and financial records" and "complete access to all our financial records for all activities during our marriage and since separation."
The two co-starred in the film, Step Up in 2006. They tied the knot in 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Everly, in 2013. They were declared officially separated in 2019.
Dewan is now with Blindspot star Steve Kazee, with whom she shares two children, Callum and Rhiannon.
Meanwhile, Tatum has reportedly been engaged to Zoë Kravitz since October 2023.
