Some easily get starstruck when they come across a celebrity, especially if it's a big name in the entertainment scene. But it was different for this kid, who managed to casually interview the one and only Bea Alonzo in Singapore.
In a viral TikTok video, social media user @humptydump shared her brother’s unexpected and adorable encounter with the local star at an open-air food center in Singapore.
"My brother just sent me this video and said he met someone on their trip to Singapore,” the uploader wrote on the clip.

At the beginning of the video, the kid can be seen approaching Bea's table, while saying in Bisaya that there was an actress there named Bea Alonzo. “I wonder [saan siya] famous,” he began.
He then proceeded to ask the actress: “Excuse me, what are you famous [for]?"
The 35-year-old celebrity did not hesitate to answer" "I'm a movie actress, so maybe that's it,” she said.
The kid went on to ask Bea more questions about where she's from, her favorite food, and her favorite country. When asked why she's in Singapore, the movie personality said: "Because we're celebrating my boyfriend's birthday."
The TikTok post, which has garnered almost 3 million views as of writing, drew laughs from social media users.
“Casually interviewing Bea Alonzo for free HAHAHA CUTE,” an Internet user commented.
“Galing niya mag interview. The guts, the confidence, fluent niya sa English. How old na kaya ang batang 'to? Talino,” another one commented.
Other social media users, meanwhile, praised Bea’s kindness and patience in accommodating the kid’s questions even though she was having lunch at the time.
“I love the patience of Bea answering all of his questions,” said a TikTok user.
Bea and Dominic flew to Singapore two weeks ago to celebrate both their engagement and the latter’s birthday.
After dating for three years, the two got engaged in July this year. Bea previously said they are looking to tie the knot in 2024.
