Bea Alonzo, Dominique Roque celebrate their engagement in Singapore

Newly engaged couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque flew to Singapore to celebrate two special occasions: their engagement and the actor’s birthday.

Bea shared a glimpse of their quick getaway on Instagram, saying they had to rush to their flight right after the GMA Gala last July 22. 

“Literal na tumakbo sa airport after the GMA Gala. We barely made it to our flight!” she said.

In most of the clips that Bea posted in her reel, the couple can be seen enjoying their fancy meals and drinks. 

One clip, in particular, where Dominic was seen ironing his fiancée's clothes on the hotel bed, caught the attention of her followers.

Bea expressed her appreciation, writing “Check out the clip where he was ironing my clothes, ganyan po sya magmahal.” 

The Start Up star described the trip as “short but one of the most unforgettable [ones]."

In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Bea admitted that she had a feeling Dominic was going to propose to her in Singapore. Little did she know that Dominic would put a ring on her finger a few weeks before their trip.

"Actually, after ng GMA Gala, talagang pupunta kami ng Singapore, so parang may feeling ako na doon siya magpopropose. 'Yun 'yung pinaghahandaan ko na 'Ano kaya 'yung gagawin niya?'" she said.

She told Nelson that they will "definitely" have the wedding in 2024.

The celebrity couple started dating in January 2021 but only confirmed their relationship in August 2021.

Dominic popped the question last July 18 during a shoot in Las Casas, Bataan.
