Kathryn Bernardo pens appreciation letter to mom for being the 'best support system'
Kathryn Bernardo expressed gratitude to her mother, Min Bernardo, for being her number one supporter in everything she does.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Dec. 6, the A Very Good Girl actress said she considers her mom her "best support system" as she goes through the challenges that come with being in the entertainment scene.
"Blessed to have had the best support system as I navigated the challenges of this industry and the career path I chose," Kathryn wrote in the caption.
The 27-year-old star also noted that Min has been a huge part of her life since day one—from going to auditions and experiencing failures to turning their dreams into a reality together.
"Thank you mama for being my number one supporter since the beginning—from accompanying me to auditions, to encouraging me as I experienced rejections, and then to finally fulfilling our dreams together," she wrote.
The appreciation post comes over a week after Kathryn announced her split from Daniel Padilla, with whom she was in a relationship for over a decade.
Min, as well as Karla Estrada, Daniel's mom, were among those who expressed their love and support for the former couple after their breakup confirmation.
KathNiel debuted as a love team in 2011 in the teleserye Growing Up and has since starred in other shows and movies. They confirmed their relationship in 2018.
