Celebrities gave their love to Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla or KathNiel after the longtime power couple announced their breakup on Nov. 30 after 11 years of being together.

After being ensnarled in breakup rumors in recent weeks, Kathryn broke her silence and confirmed that she and Daniel were no more in a lengthy Instagram post. Daniel followed suit minutes after Kathryn's post.

Sofia Andres and Alora Sasam, in the comments section of the actress' post, expressed their love for their close friend Kathryn.

Melai Francisco said she respects them and will love them both forever.

Ruffa Gutierrez, a self-confessed KathNiel fan, said she’s “crying right now” and that she loves them both.

Bodjie Pascua described Kathryn's message as beautiful. “Much love and respect to both of you. Am quite sure this will help you in your journey to be the best Kath possible. Am so looking forward to knowing and loving THAT Kath. Can't wait. Mahigpit na yakap.”

Carlo Aquino said, “It's always difficult before it gets easy. Hang tight, take time, we'll be here no matter what.”

Denise Laurel said Kathryn is her “forever princess now queen.” Though they don’t see each other, she said she loves Kathryn, “no showbiz,” and is proud of the woman and artist she has become.

Say Alonzo gave virtual hugs to Kathryn. “Thank you for always being your authentic self and hindi ‘showbiz’ since we met in Super Inggo! Praying for you! Love you!!”

As for Korina Sanchez, she said, “No words,” preceded by a broken heart emoji.

Daniel's sisters also showed their support. Roanna left three heart emojis, while Magui said “we love you” with a blue heart emoji.

Sarah Lahbati and Kyline Alcantara, whose respective relationships are reportedly on the rocks, also showed their support. Miles Ocampo, who recently broke up with Elijah Canlas, also expressed sympathy.

Meanwhile, on X, ABS-CBN reporter Jeff Canoy shared a photo of his colleagues watching the television report closely.

Vice Ganda also tweeted, “God bless the broken hearts,” followed by the hashtag #kathniel.

Bela Padilla also posted a tweet saying, "I think the most painful part is realising a person was just meant to pass through one's life. Never to sray, never to stay... for us who watched them grow up together, acceptance and kindness in everything we say or do."

For Gretchen Fullido, reporting about the breakup was "one of the most difficult and emotional news items" she had to do.

"Always a joy interviewing #KATHNIEL thru the years — 12 years as a love team & 11 years as a real life couple," she started.

"I have to admit, in my 13 years anchoring for Star Patrol on TV Patrol, the news about their break up is one of the most difficult & emotional news items that I had to read live in the newscast. Not to mention that it was 7 pages long," the newscaster said, adding that she is praying for the couple's healing and growth.

Talent manager Ogie Diaz first brought up the KathNiel breakup through his supposed source. While he clarified there was no confirmation regarding this, Ogie cited an insider again as he mentioned the name of Andrea Brillantes, who’s supposedly secretly meeting with Daniel.

Since then, there have been some developments that further fueled the rumors, such as Andrea appearing to have unfollowed Kathryn on Instagram amid the issue. In turn, Kathryn and some of her celebrity friends had also cut the communication lines with the young actress.

Kathryn and Daniel debuted as a love team in 2011 for the teleserye Growing Up and have since starred in more shows and movies. They confirmed their relationship in 2018.
