Andi Eigenmann honors late mother Jaclyn Jose: 'You'll always be with me, Nanay'
Andi Eigenmann took the time to honor her late mother Jaclyn Jose as she celebrated her birthday on Tuesday, June 25.
On her Instagram account, the now 34-year-old posted a video where she can be seen gently placing three flowers into the ocean—her way of paying tribute to her deceased mom.
"Every day, but more today, I remember my mother. As I celebrate my 34th birthday, I honor the person that brought me into this world and gave me this beautiful life. There was no other live like yours, Nanay," Andi wrote in the caption.
"I will always cherish this wonderful gift you gave me. As you are now amongst the stars, I know that I will always be guided by your shining light. You'll always be with me Nanay," she added.
Andi's followers sent her some love in the comments section of her post.
"Happy birthday Andi! Live your life to the fullest. Your Nanay will always be with you and your brother. God bless! Praying for your health and happiness!" one user wrote.
"Happiest birthday Andi. I know for sure your mom is always beside you. May God shine His guiding light upon you and your family. God Bless you always," another commented.
Jaclyn passed away on March 2 due to a myocardial infarction or heart attack. She is survived by her children Andi and Gwen.
In her four-decade career in showbiz, she won the Gawad Urian, Luna Awards, and FAMAS Awards for her works. She was also named best actress at the Cannes Film Festival for her role in Brilante Mendoza's Ma' Rosa.
Following her death, Andi and her family brought home some of Jaclyn’s cremated remains to Siargao, with the rest of the ashes stored in an urn, which is now in a columbarium in Quezon City.
