Miles Ocampo on sparking romance anew with Elijah Canlas: ‘We’re working on it'
Miles Ocampo revealed that she and Elijah Canlas are “working” on getting back together again after their split in 2023.
In her interview with TV 5’s Frontline Pilipinas, Miles confirmed that she and Elijah are currently talking again, months after confirming their breakup last year.
When asked whether they got back together, the actress, who was all smiles, said they were "working on it.”
This comes after Elijah seemingly hinted at their reconciliation in his previous interview with showbiz reporter MJ Felipe.
On whether finding new love is part of his 2024 goals, the actor hinted that he still possibly had feelings for Miles. “Looking for love? What if love pa?” he said.
“There's always love within us, right? There's always love within us, and I have so much love to give, you know,” he continued.
Answering rumors on whether they got back together, Elijah told ABS-CBN News, “We’re friends. You’ll be the first to know.”
The two made headlines the past weeks after they were spotted looking cozy together at Maine Mendoza’s birthday party.
In an Instagram post by their friend, actor Thou Reyes, the two were seen closely posing for a photo together with Maine, Kakai Bautista, and Chamyto Aguedan.

Elijah confirmed his breakup with Miles in November 2023, saying that it happened “a couple of months ago.”
"I'm always gonna have love for her and always gonna support her with whatever she does. I'm always her number one fan, basically but right now we are taking our time figuring, ourselves and our lives right now,” he previously said.
The two first went public about their romance in May 2022, which actually began in 2021.
