Mikee Quintos confirms split with Paul Salas
Mikee Quintos and Paul Salas have broken up.
The actress made the revelation in an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that aired on Tuesday, April 1.
"Opo, hiwalay na kami," she said.
The local star, however, remained tight-lipped about the reason behind their decision. “I think it’s better if you hear from him. That's better,” she said. “Pero honestly, before today, pinag-iisipan kong mabuti kung magsasabi na ako sa public. Kung hindi, mahirap 'to for me.”
Mikee admitted everything has been “shocking” to her lately, so she's not yet ready to share more about what happened at the moment.
"Hindi naman sa ayaw kong i-share, pero I think there's a right time for it. Pagdadaanan ko na lang po muna," she continued.
According to her, they began talking about their decision as a couple a month ago. “And ngayon, nagiging clear sa amin na ito nga 'yung tama for us,” she shared, noting it was a “mutual” move between them.
She also clarified there was no third party involved in their split.
Paul and Mikee went public with their relationship in 2022. They celebrated their third anniversary in July last year.
