Miss Universe owner Anne Jakrajutatip expressed her gratitude as she claimed the prestigious pageant's 2023 edition became "one of the best and most-watched" in years.

In an Instagram post, the Thai businesswoman uploaded a compilation of clips from the recently concluded 72nd Miss Universe tilt. "One of the best and most-watched Miss Universe shows in many years. I could not be more proud," she wrote in the caption.

"Thank you, everyone, who turned my dream into a reality," she added. "I'm forever grateful."

The Miss Universe 2023 competition took place on Nov. 19 (Philippine time) in El Salvador, where Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua won the highly coveted crown and succeeded Fil-Am R’Bonney Gabriel, who represented the USA in the previous edition of the pageant. She was followed by Anntonia Porsild of Thailand and Moraya Wilson of Australia, who placed first and second runner-up, respectively.

Philippine bet Michelle Dee, meanwhile, finished her journey to the crown in the Top 10. She bagged special recognitions, including "Voice for Change," Carnival Cruise Award, and Best in National Costume.

Jakrajutatip is the CEO of Thai media and content conglomerate JKN Global Group, which acquired the Miss Universe organization from IMG in October 2022.

Established in 2014, JKN is one of the biggest content management and distribution companies in her country. It has partnered with business giants like Walt Disney, CBS, and Sony.
