Mini 2NE1 reunion? K-pop stars Dara and Minzy to reunite at EPICON 2023 in April

Neuwave Events and Productions recently announced that both Minzy and Dara are part of the lineup for EPICON 2023 happening on April 1 at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.
“Prepare to dance the night away with Minzy! We're thrilled to welcome this talented solo artist to the 2nd generation lineup,” the concert organizer tweeted on Monday, March 13.

The post was followed by a reveal of the upcoming event's host—another former 2NE1 member Dara.

Dara, who started her showbiz career in the Philippines, shared the news on her official Instagram page. "Host muna ako ngayon dahil 'di pa nakarelease album ko. Pero performer Dara naman next time. Mag enjoy pa rin tayo!" she wrote.
“2NE1” landed on Twitter's list of trending topics after the announcement, with fans expressing their hope to include Park Bom and CL in this year's lineup for the "complete reunion" of one of the biggest 2nd generation bands in the K-pop scene.
2NE1 last reunited on the Coachella stage in April 2022, where they performed their 2011 hit song I Am The Best—seven years after their disbandment in 2016.
EPICON 2023 will stage K-pop stars from the first to fourth generations to present the incredible evolution of K-pop music. Tickets will be available on sale from March 18 to 19, with prices ranging from P750 for Wave 3 to P7,500 for VIP Wave.
