Kristel Fulgar, Shaira Diaz open up about being virgin brides: 'It's something to be proud of'

Kristel Fulgar and Shaira Diaz spoke candidly about their choice to stay virgins until marriage.

In her latest vlog, Kristel had a chance to bond with Shaira and talk about their married life with their husbands, Ha Su Hyuk and EA Guzman, respectively.

At one point during their conversation, the content creator opened up about how some people regard being a virgin at their age as something to be ashamed of.

"Sabi nila, kapag kunwari, ganitong age ka tapos virgin, parang nakakahiya," Kristel said. "No. Parang for me, it's something to be proud of."

Shaira agreed. "And it's normal," she added.

For her part, Shaira stressed the importance of family planning in the Philippines.

She then clarified that they have nothing against those who didn't wait until marriage for sex. "We respect them. No judgment about that. Para sa'min, awareness lang sa youth ngayon na it's possible and doable siya."

Kristel then shared that while she's looking to build a family with her husband in the future, she still wants to enjoy her married life in the meantime.

Ang dami pa naming ine-explore," she added.

Kristel and Su-hyuk tied the knot at the Luna Miele Events Place in Seoul, South Korea, in May 2025. They have since settled in Korea, though they visit the Philippines from time to time.

Shaira, meanwhile, got married to EA in August 2025 after 12 years of being together.
