Sarah Geronimo gets featured on Spotify's Time Square billboard
Sarah Geronimo is reaching new heights in her career once again as she appeared on the iconic Spotify billboard in Times Square, New York City.
On her Instagram account, Sarah shared her momentous achievement by posting a picture of her face displayed on the billboard, located in one of the busiest pedestrian areas and most visited tourist attractions in the world.
The massive digital billboard is part of the music service's “Equal Philippines” campaign, which aims to highlight female artists worldwide.
"Thank you so much Spotify for this opportunity! So honored to be EQUAL PH's ambassador for October. Keep streaming the Spotify EQUAL PH playlist, and let's continue to celebrate women, no matter the day!" Sarah wrote.
The Popstar Royalty now joins the growing list of Filipino singers who have had the privilege of being featured at the Spotify EQUAL playlist billboard, with the recent one being actress and OPM singer Maris Racal. Other artists include Nadine Lustre, Julie Ann San Jose, and KZ Tandingan.
Sarah recently made headlines when she released her new single "Dati-Dati" earlier this October. This was after two long years of being away from the limelight following her wedding with her husband Matteo Guidicelli in 2020.
To promote the song, the 34-year-old singer donned a stunning look that highlights her long curly hair, possibly symbolizing a new version of herself.
