Seats collapsing, 'Very Nice' stages, and more highlights from SEVENTEEN's 'Follow' concerts in Bulacan
SEVENTEEN and Filo Carats unlocked core memories during both days of the Follow tour.
After their Be The Sun tour in Manila in 2022, Sebongs (the group’s nickname) made sure to make their comeback worth it as they held a two-night sold-out show on Jan. 13 and 14 at Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan.
From collapsing seats to more than five Very Nice performances, the boys and Filo Carats surely partied hard, despite missing S.Coups and Jeonghan.
If you’re still high on post-concert euphoria or now suffering from PCD (post-concert depression), let’s take a trip to memory lane and review the highs and lows of the Follow tour.
Late concert reminders, long queues
Hours before the show, Filo Carats expressed their dismay when concert organizer Live Nation Philippines announced the reminders for ticket verification late, despite making a cut-off time for queuing and strapping.
“[S]hould've announced this ahead of time. [P]ersonnel from the line before your announcement allowed people to exit as long as we will come back on the time range given,” user @kimingyuzone wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
Another X user posted that they have been in the queue since 11 a.m. and haven’t verified their tickets yet at 3 p.m. on Jan. 13, when the soundcheck will begin at 3:30 p.m. Some fans pointed out that late reminders would mean less time for clarifications, especially for those foreigners who will attend the event.
There were also problems in implementing queue rules for PWD attendees, like what user @heoljisoo and her sister encountered. According to the user, her sister wasn't initially allowed to the PWD access area because she wasn't in a wheelchair and "looked okay."
She added that the whole ordeal triggered her sister's panic attack, noting how there were no staff from the concert organizer checked on them.
Safety concerns
There were also safety concerns, especially when a row of bleachers at MID 1 section 133 collapsed during the show. The X user shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News that no attendees were injured during the incident.

Some also raised concerns about overcrowding in the standing section, with concertgoers sharing how hard it was to breathe and move during the show, as well as calling for help due to the lack of staff present in the section. An X user showed a video where fans were calling for medic.
The K-pop idols themselves noticed and ensured to assist them first before proceeding with the show. They even offered their own water bottles to hand out to the crowd.
Aju Nice! stages
Despite the mishaps, Filo Carats and Sebongs partied hard and not just one, but more than five Very Nice performances.
The boys also made the Filo Carats swoon speaking almost-perfect Tagalog during one of the last moments of the show, with Mingyu, Wonwoo, and Woozi promising, “Babalik kami para sa inyo.”
After the show, fans, including celebrity Megan Young, gushed online about the two-night concerts—and it wasn't just because of the boys, but also because of the fun the Carats had.
