Kris Aquino gives health update as she clears up current relationship status
Kris Aquino gave an update on her health as she made her relationship status “very clear” to her social media followers.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 2, the “Queen of All Media” thanked her supporters for their “continued prayers” in her battle with several autoimmune diseases, revealing that her inflammatory numbers have improved.
“I don’t have my complete blood panel results yet but gumanda my inflammatory numbers,” she wrote, adding that she’s hoping to get the remaining results of her recent lab tests soon.
The multimedia personality also shared she’s still anemic, though it’s been her problem even before she got diagnosed with autoimmune conditions.
“I don’t know what good I did but I know I’m surviving all the side effects of methotrexate and my biological injectable because God is listening to all your prayers for my healing,” she continued, adding the hashtag #faith.
While they have settled in their rental home in the United States, Kris said she’s praying that she’ll achieve remission soon so she can come back to the Philippines. “Praying more that in 18 to 20 months, I’ll reach remission and after 6 months, I’ll have my doctors’ clearances and we can go home,” she said. “I miss my sisters, my cousins, my [Filipino] doctors, my close friends, and of course, all of you. It’s already been six months.”
Before concluding her Instagram message, Kris also clarified her current relationship status and noted she’s single at the moment. “I am not in a relationship, we no longer communicate, and my sons and I feel more peaceful,” she wrote, referring to her ex-boyfriend, Batangas vice governor Mark Leviste, with whom she was in a relationship for less than a year. “No details because I value my privacy and respect his, and I chose to only give the facts that should be addressed.”
“Again, thank you for your compassion to keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers,” she concluded.
The local personality has been undergoing treatment in the US since June 2022.
In August this year, she shared she’s finally “on the correct path to remission and a better quality of life.” While she still has a “long way to go,” Kris shared that “our prayers are being answered.”
