How has Angel Locsin been?

In an interview with showbiz reporter MJ Marfori during the 20th anniversary of Cornerstone, the former actress' husband, film producer Neil Arce shared an update about her as he mentioned how "private" their lives have been since she decided to step out of the limelight.

"I need to balance it because it's very private," he said with a laugh.

When asked how they do it considering his work in the entertainment industry, he shared that it's all about time management. "Pag-uwi ko, nandun naman siya eh. That's our time together."

According to Arce, Locsin still goes out of the house from time to time. "It was her brother's wedding yesterday, so we were there," he said.

He shared that Locsin mostly stays at home and tunes in to the latest celebrity collab edition of Pinoy Big Brother, which includes Arce's son, Joaquin, as one of the housemates.

Is there a chance for them to be seen in public together again? "I'm sure you will, one way or another. We're just not planning anything," he answered. "We're just enjoying life."

In August, Arce shared that Locsin is enjoying her time at home playing games. "I think everyone knows that she's into gaming. She's taking online classes, and she's enjoying herself," he said.

According to the film producer, he isn't asking Locsin about her plans in her career as she's a "strong independent woman."

"I'm her husband, lover, everything and I'm also a fan," he said. "Deep inside, of course, I miss her on the screen. Pero nangunguna ‘yung pagka-husband eh, kung saan ka masaya."

Locsin's last teleserye was The General's Daughter in 2019. Her last projects were in 2020, hosting the program Iba Yan and having a cameo in Four Sisters Before the Wedding.

She also went on a social media hiatus in 2022, but briefly returned on Jan. 13, 2025, after her X account got hacked.

Arce and Locsin first confirmed their relationship in 2018 and originally planned to get married in November 2020, but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They tied the knot in an intimate civil wedding ceremony on July 26, 2021. They publicly announced their marriage on Aug. 7 of that year.
