'Eternally grateful': Amber Heard reveals she welcomed twins in Mother's Day post
Amber Heard announced that she welcomed twins on Mother's Day.
In an Instagram post on May 11, the actress said that this year's celebration was one she will "never forget."
"I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years," she wrote, sharing a glimpse of her little ones.
"Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang," she said. "My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full."
Amber looked back at the time she welcomed her first baby Oonagh through surrogacy in 2021.
"When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy," she wrote. "Well, now I am bursting times three!!!"
For the international star, being a mother on her own terms despite some fertility challenges "has been the most humbling experience of my life."
"I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully," she added. To all the moms, wherever you are today and however you got here, my dream family and I are celebrating with you."
In December, a spokesperson for Amber announced she was expecting her second child. At the time, they said that she was “delighted” not just for herself but also for her daughter.
Amber has kept her family life private, rarely posting family photos on social media.
