Maris Racal performs at drag queen club O Bar: 'Sobrang happy ako sa stage'

Maris Racal gushed over the night she got to perform at drag club O Bar in Ortigas.

The actress took to TikTok to share her sentiments about her recent performance at the club as Pride Month came to a close.

"Guys naiiyak ako kasi... share ko lang, kasi kagabi, nagperform ako sa O Bar for the first time," she said in a video posted on June 30.

"I am so happy na nagperform ako kagabi. Naiiyak pa rin ako hanggang ngayon. Thank you sa lahat ng sumuporta," the Can't Buy Me Love star continued.

Maris added that she felt so happy to be on stage. In a clip shared to her TikTok, she performed Madonna's Vogue with backup dancers and Like a Prayer with the club's drag queens.

"As in, hindi niyo alam kung gaano ako ka-happy. Sana marami pang moments na makaperform ako on stage kasi na-realize ko sobrang buhay na buhay ako habang nasa stage ako," the actress said.

In the video of her performance, Maris also shared that she actually asked O Bar if she could take the stage there because of her love for the LGBTQ+ community.

The actress recently attended her first Pride March on June 22 in Quezon City. However, the annual event was cut short due to heavy rain but Pride PH held another Thanksgiving event on June 30 with Vice Ganda, Pura Luka Vega, Sassa Gurl, Marina Summers, Regine Velasquez, and Gloc-9.
