Kanye West reveals past incestuous relationship with male cousin
Kanye West revealed his sexual experience with his male cousin when they were children, a memory that inspired his new song.
The 47-year-old rapper made the revelation on his X post in promotion of his new song.
“This song is called COUSINS about my cousin that’s locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn’t ‘look at dirty magazines together anymore,” he wrote. In the post, he included low-quality footage of random scenes of young kids playing, accompanied by a snippet of the song.
The I Wonder singer furthered that he felt responsible for showing his cousin, whom he did not identify, those “dirty magazines” when the latter was six years old.
“Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw,” he continued, adding that he found the X-rated content from his dad’s playboy magazines.
“My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found [at] the top of my moms closet were different,” West wrote.
“My name is Ye and I s****d my cousins d*** till I was 14,” he continued.
West previously mentioned his cousin during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! In August 2018, where he talked briefly about the complexities of love.
“My cousin is locked up for murder, and I love him. So he did a bad thing, but I still love him,” he said at the time.
West is known for his songs Stronger, Flashing Lights, and Heartless, among others. He has four kids—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm—whom he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
