Kris Aquino has a new beau!

The TV host shared about her love life in an interview with Ogie Diaz on June 29.

"He's a doctor, and I think that's part of the reason why it was easy. Kasi alam niya kung anong painagdadaanan ko," she told Ogie.

"He's part of the reason why I'm confident na pwede akong umuwi kasi alam ko there's someone who will help in taking care of me," Kris added.

Kris' son Bimby described the new boyfriend, a doctor based in the Makati, as a "very good guy."

"Medyo makulit lang, but very good guy," the 17-year-old said.

Kris' last public relationship was with Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste. The actress confirmed they were together in July 2023 but they eventually broke up due to her health concerns.

The TV host's son, Bimby, told Ogie that since Kris' birthday (February 14), they were no longer together. "'Pag long distance siyempre mahirap atsaka just a lot of things," he said.

Kris also shared she had no plans to get back together with Mark. "Nagkalabuan na magmula November. And then sinubukang ayusin pero may mga nalaman ako na hindi ko gusto," she shared.

She added that they were still "friendly" but at a distance.

On her health

In addition to her love life, Kris also gave a health update and her plans for this year.

"May mga natamaan na blood vessels kaya kailangan ko pa magpalakas," she shared.

"Hopefully sa last quarter ng taon bago mag-pasko, I'll be back in the Philippines. It just really depends sa pagdadaanan kong tests. Isa doon yung MRI with contrast dye," Kris said.

According to Envision Radiology, this test will see the patient get injected with a gadolinium-based dye into their arm for enhanced image quality allowing the radiologist more accuracy in their diagnosis.

The TV host last had an MRI with contrast in 2019. Should her results for the upcoming test be clear, she'd have the go signal to come back to the Philippines.
