Karla Estrada shared that she always prays for her son Daniel Padilla to be okay amid his challenges.

The host shared more about Daniel’s state on journalist Bernadette Sembrano’s recent vlog, where they talked about the early days of her showbiz career, love life, and motherhood.

Sembrano then asked how Daniel was. “'Yung anak ko, pinag-usapan naman ng buong daigdig iyan ano. And I always pray that he will be okay," Karla began.

"But at the end of the day, 'yung question na kumusta 'yung anak ko, kumusta si Daniel, si Daniel lang ang tanging makakasagot nang buo nu'n," Estrada added.

She furthered that as their mother, one thing she always prays for her children is their betterment especially when they are facing personal challenges. The TV host has four kids, namely Daniel, Jose Carlito, Carmella, and Magui.

"Sana 'pag dumadaan sila ng mga pagsubok, sana maganda ang lesson talaga kasi kailangan mong magkamali para may matutunan ka at para mas maging maayos ka at mabuting tao,” she continued.

“Andito lang ako lagi sa likod ni DJ if ever tawagan niya ako, gusto niya akong makausap," Estrada said.

The Face-to-Face host also shared that she taught her children to be strong amid challenges and to embrace the lessons from them.

"It's an exercise for my children na hindi sila dapat nakatangkod agad sa akin tuwing mayroon silang problema kasi ang tinuro ko sa mga anak ko, pwede kayong madapa, pwede tayong masaktan, and then just learn from it, matuto lang tayo diyan kasi hindi pwedeng tumigil ang buhay; Lahat nagkakamali," she said.

Daniel made headlines as his breakup with longtime girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo was publicized in November 2023.

Social media users speculated he got involved with actresses Andrea BrillantesGillian Vicencio, and Vietnamese Minh Phuong, a.k.a Emma—who denied these accusations.

He celebrated his birthday at J Castles, a new immersive amusement park where he serves as one of the co-owners. It was attended by his family members Karla Estrada, Rommel Padilla, and Senator Robin Padilla. Joining the festivities were married couple Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde, as well as directors Cathy Garcia and Mae Cruz Alvar.
