Charlie Puth is getting married!

The singer announced on social media that he has finally popped the question to his sweetheart Brooke Sansone. "I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes," he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post on Thursday, Sept. 7.

"I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever," he added.

According to entertainment portal Page Six, this comes almost a year after the couple became Instagram official during his birthday celebration in December.

Puth and Sansone started out as friends and eventually decided to get into a romantic relationship.

In an October 2022 interview with Howard Stern, Puth shared that he grew up with his now-fiancée in New Jersey.

"As my life gets more turbulent and I travel everywhere, it’s nice to have someone close to you that you’ve known for a very long time," he said at the time.
