Sharon Cuneta shares she ships Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo: 'Kung totoo ‘yan, napakasaya ko'
It looks like Sharon Cuneta is all aboard the Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo ship!
In an interview with TV Patrol, the Megastar was asked about her reaction to the rumored romance between the two celebrities whose tandem is referred to as "KathDen" by their fans.
"Ayokong magsabing oo, pero tawagan ko si Alden mamaya," Sharon jested before saying, "Nahihiya kong magsabi ng ‘Anak, kayo na ba?’ Pero nag-message ako sa kaniya, ‘Anak, kung totoo ‘yan, napakasaya ko!"
Sharon has developed a close bond with both stars due to sharing past projects with them. She recently worked with Alden in the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Family of Two whereas she starred with Kathryn in the 2018 family romance film Three Words to Forever.
"Parehong super bait na mga tao. Totoo ‘yung mga sinasabi ng mga taga Star Cinema na napakabait ni Kathryn and then Alden the same, so I cannot contain my excitement. Pero nahihiya ako magtanong," Sharon highlighted.
Relationship speculations between Alden and Kathryn began when the actor gave the A Very Good Girl star a huge bouquet and gift during her surprise birthday celebration.
The rumors were further fueled when Alden attended Kathryn's housewarming party and was captured alongside her in many videos and photos.
Despite this, both of them remain tight-lipped on the real score between them, with Alden saying in an interview with Preview that he wants it to "be personal."
"Whatever is happening between Kath and I, I really want it to be personal," he stressed.
The two will once again share the screen in the upcoming film Hello, Love, Again, the sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Hello, Love, Goodbye.
Meanwhile, Sharon is set to make her teleserye comeback in a series under ABS-CBN’s Dreamscape Entertainment, although details such as its title, other cast members, and target release date have yet to be announced. Her last television project was in 2022 when she made a special appearance in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
