After two months of taking a break from social media for treatment, Kris Aquino shared a new health update on her diagnosis and treatment, which presented to be a "challenge."

The Queen of All Media said she's signed up in a hospital's center for those with rare & undiagnosed illnesses and continues to undergo tests. This would be the first step of her more than 18-month diagnosis and treatment.

Aquino will also be admitted in early 2023 for further testing as her current state presents a "challenge."

"After my results, the team shall decide what treatment will be best because the coordinator admitted I'm a 'challenge' since I'm allergic to so many types of medicine including steroids," she wrote on Instagram on Nov. 24.

"Pang case study daw ako—one person with multiple autoimmune conditions and over 100 known allergic or adverse reactions to medication."

Because of the lengthy treatment, the TV host is working to extend her stay in the United States, where she is currently based. "We already filed our papers with US immigration to extend our stay. Bawal umalis ng [US] until the extension is granted. We miss our family and so many of you."

'Bawal sumuko'

Aquino shared a photo of her sons Josh and Bimby alongside her latest update, saying "they are my reasons kung bakit tuloy ang laban, bawal sumuko."

"Tinittiis yung matinding sakit (sagad sa buto) while allergic to all pain relievers, the constant fatigue, awful sense of balance, non-stop dry cough and shortness of breath, yung sobrang pag-iingat (I'm so immunocompromised—since June, I've never been to a restaurant, never entered a store, supermarket, or mall)," she shared.

In her last update, Aquino said she has been diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases and a possible fifth.
