Dominic Roque hints at plans to propose marriage to Bea Alonzo 'soon'
Dominic Roque hinted that he could pop the question to Bea Alonzo anytime “soon.”
In an interview with entertainment reporter MJ Marfori posted on her TikTok page on June 13, the couple briefly talked about their Instagram snaps that sparked engagement speculations due to their romantic venue and setup.
“Actually, mukhang engagement talaga pero it was 2021 pa, ‘yung picture namin na ‘yun. Late lang lagi talaga akong mag-post,” Dominic explained.
“Late post lang, but that doesn’t mean we’re engaged in 2021, hindi. Just to clarify, we’re not engaged,” added Bea.
MJ then asked: “The next question is: Will it be next?”
To which, Dominic replied without hesitation: “Yes, it will. It will be next. Soon.”
In a March interview with Small Laude, Bea said she’s “definitely” ready to get married and have kids at this point in her life. "Siyempre, I'm in my 30s. Definitely,” she said at the time.
“But right now kasi medyo packed ang work. Darating din 'yung panahon eh and I also believe that we have our own timeline. Hindi porket lahat ng tao my age are getting married, it doesn't mean that I need to get married, too. I know that I have my own timeline,” she added.
Bea and Dominic first sparked dating speculations in 2020. After months of being spotted together in similar locations, the GMA-7 star confirmed their romance in August 2021, saying it “just came out naturally.” The couple marked their second anniversary in January.
