Gypsy Rose Blanchard detailed her final conversation on the phone with her fiancé, Ken Urker, before he died at age 33.

Ken was found dead by his relative on his birthday at his residence in Raceland, Louisiana, as reported by TMZ on Oct. 1. Gypsy Rose told PEOPLE Magazine that he overdosed. “I don’t know if it was intentional or not,” she told the media outlet, adding that he "was not in a good state of mind lately."

In an interview with Daily Mail, Ken's sister Autumn said that the Urker family is "disgusted with her statements. She hasn't even called my mother or any of us yet."

In response to Autumn's comments, Gypsy Rose—in an exclusive report by Us—said, “At this time, I do not want the focus surrounding Ken’s passing to become centered on negativity or disagreements between Autumn and me.”

“It is no secret that Autumn did not approve of Ken’s relationship with me, and there has been significant tension between us,” she added.

Gypsy Rose then recalled her last phone call with Ken, which was on Sept. 28. According to her, Ken expressed that he was "deeply distressed" by the rift between her and his sister Autumn.

"[He] said that Autumn had repeatedly threatened to ‘go harder’ publicly and further contribute to the negative commentary and scrutiny he was already experiencing. Those were Ken’s statements to me, and I can only speak to what he personally communicated," she said.

“Right now, my priority is grieving Ken, supporting our daughter and honoring his memory,” she told Us. “I remain in communication with Ken’s family, and aside from my relationship with Autumn, those communications have been positive and respectful during an incredibly painful time.”

According to Page Six, Gypsy Rose and Ken became prison pen pals in 2017 while she was in jail for her involvement in the killing of her mother Claudine. She served seven years of her original 10-year sentence for plotting the murder of her mom, who subjected her to multiple and “painful” medical procedures for made-up illnesses and treated her like a “prisoner.”

Gypsy Rose was released from prison in December 2023 after being granted parole in September of the same year.

She and Ken got engaged in October 2018, but broke up a year later.

They later rekindled their romance and welcomed a daughter named Aurora Raina Urker on Dec. 28, 2024, which also marked the first anniversary of her prison release.
