LOOK: Doja Cat covers herself in 30,000 Swarovski crystals for Paris Fashion Week
Doja Cat was an absolute head-turner at the Paris Fashion Week.
The rapper easily became the star of the affair when she showed up at the Schiaparelli Haute Couture Spring Summer 2023 show covered in 30,000 Swarovski crystals on Monday, Jan. 23.
In an Instagram post, the fashion house shared that the red jewels were applied by hand as they gave more details about her eyecatching look, which they elevated with “red silk faille bustier,” “hand-knit skirt of lacquered wooden beads,” and “Trompe l’œil toe boots.”
Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath shared in a Twitter post that it took four hours and 58 minutes to complete Doja’s striking look for the show held at Petit Palais in Paris. Calling it an “honor” to take part in her “Inferno” look, Pat said the singer’s commitment to her fashion week look was “inspiring.”
“The final product was a magical masterpiece,” she noted.

Aside from Doja, TV personality Kylie Jenner also became a hot topic for her lion head dress at the same event. She donned a massive lion head as a brooch on a black gown that covered her entire torso. It's also part of Schiaparelli's collection, which was inspired by Dante's Inferno and the nine circles of hell.
