Doja Cat reacts to mental health concerns after shaving her head and brows on IG Live: ‘I’m rich, I’m fine’
Doja Cat has addressed mental health concerns after debuting her shaved head and brows on social media.
On Instagram Live on Friday, Aug. 5, the rapper told her followers that she’s “rich,” “fine,” and that the comments on her new look make her want to take even her “f—king pubic hair out.”
“Just the whole ‘Are you okay, queen?’ sh*t makes me want to rip my… I guess the hair that I have left out and that would be my pubics,” she said.
“I want to rip my f—king pubic hair out, I absolutely hate it,” she added.
The pop singer continues to embrace her new look after shaving her head—and then her eyebrows on IG Live, which sparked concerns on her mental health.

But Doja’s Instagram posts show she’s simply been enjoying it all by rocking some eyebrow designs in striking colors that have received both love and dislike. “I just do not like to have hair. I’d be working out, but I couldn’t focus because I was more concerned with how I looked and how my hair was doing. There were times when I’d put a beanie on top of my wig, that’s on top of a wig cap, that’s on top of braids.”
The rapper’s been having the time of her life with her new look, it seems. She even added she couldn’t believe that it took her “this long to be like: shave your f—king head.” You do you, Doja!
