Add a touch of positivity to your style with Uniqlo and Geloy Concepcion's wearable affirmations
Sometimes, a little positive reminder is all we need to boost our spirits. We set mantras as our phone lock screens and stick daily affirmations on our mirrors, but this time, Japanese retail brand Uniqlo is putting them directly on our clothes.
Uniqlo Philippines has collaborated with Filipino artist and storyteller Geloy Concepcion for an exclusive embroidery collection that celebrates self-expression. Titled "Notes to Self," the collection features Concepcion’s signature handwritten notes and affirmations, ready to be sewn onto your favorite Uniqlo pieces.
Concepcion is best known for his thoughtful handwritten reflections that inspire hope, self-compassion, and connection. His meaningful messages transform everyday moments into gentle reminders of kindness and resilience.
If you need a daily pick-me-up, you can wear encouraging phrases like “I hope you choose your own happiness,” “Don’t let the hard days win,” “I’ve got too much love for one life,” “Learn to take up space and be louder,” or “Dream a little more, my friend.” They may be small details, but they can have a powerful impact on your day.
Aside from classic LifeWear pieces, you can also have these notes embroidered on Uniqlo denim, including the new 26FW UNIQLO Jeans Collection featuring the Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans, Baggy Jeans, Women's EZY Wide Straight Jeans, Women's High Rise Wide Jeans, and EZY Jeans. With its wide range of silhouettes and styles, everyone can express their individuality with confidence.
The custom embroideries cost P500 each and are available on select items and designated placements only.
You can experience the collection in person starting Aug. 8 at the Re.UNIQLO Studio in Uniqlo Manila Global Flagship Store, Glorietta 5, Makati City.
